The Department has not given an exact date for the changes to 457, ENS and RSMS visas. But they have announced that they will not go in on 1 March. Instead, they will come into effect on a date in the first half of March.
The Skilling Australia Fund which will replace the training benchmark system is still being debated in Parliament, and might not be passed by the time the March changes happen. If that is the case, the training benchmarks will still apply to new sponsorships until the laws which establish the Fund are passed.
